The lost one
Nothing broken.
But a lonely heart
Holds a token
Of a forgotten park
Its trees so lush
And shading sun
Dreaming of hugs
From the lost one
Clouds above
And sunny skies
Talking of love
And life’s old lies
Like who we were
and where we’ve been
I’m to her
What she’s to me
What you see
Is what you get
I don’t believe
I’ll give up yet
As long as you breathe
I’ll know love
Through open sea
And skies above
